Whilst Emma has been hunting out the latest beauty gossip in Paris this week, I have been painting faces in the slightly less glamourous but still very exciting borough of Dalston. Check out my kit and how the look developed on model Robbie throughout the shoot (plus a very cute cat that decided it was his job to guard my kit all day!!)
Last week, in the back streets of London Bridge, I discovered the world of Pierre Garroudi and his creative gallery. Garroudi is a london based fashion designer with around ten collections that aim to interpret future shapes and push contemporary classic boundaries. I was there, along with Stylist Tamsin Vaughan and photographer Tommy Clarke to shoot his latest and by far most beautiful collection. Think thick white fabric millefeille with oversized bows and ruffle collars
This week is a busy one for my make-up brushes and yesterday I was able to shoot with session hairstylist Mark Francome Painter (you saw him here first) and photographer Tommy Clarke of GQ, Marie Claire and Vogue.com fame. I drew my inspiration from a number of things: firstly I had just been to the Illamasqua AW10 launch (more details to follow...) and seen Alex Box create what can only be described as beautiful monsters and secondly the work of make-up artist Julie Begin as seen last week on BBB's site
