Heaps Of Hydration

As someone who’s pretty fussy about what she puts on her skin, I’m thoroughly impressed with Bobbi Brown’s latest hydrating range.
The Hydrating Skincare range consists of 5 products, all formulated to quench, balance and revive thirsty skin. There’s a Face Tonic (£18.50), Gel Cream (£33), Face Cream (£33), Eye Cream (£27) and Intense Night Cream (£35) and all have been enriched with a ‘Mineral Water Blend’.
Now I’m no scientist (although I’m working on it) but the combination of zinc, calcium, copper, iron, magnesium and potassium clearly does the trick as the products I have used are really rather good!
For the last week and half I have been using the Gel Cream during the day and the Intense Night Cream and Eye Cream just before bed and my skin feels gorgeously plump and soft. The Gel Cream is great and it’s non-oily and very light-weight and the Night Cream gives a real boost whilst you sleep.
Along with this routine, I’ve also been apply the Face Tonic after washing and am equally impressed. The tonic smells fabulously fresh, with hints of Cucumber, Chamomile, Licorice, Lavender and Aloe Leaf that leave your skin smooth, soothed and ready for the moisturiser.
My skin feels great, has a lovely glow and is nicely prepped for makeup using this range, so I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a new hydration hike.
The only downside it that the formulas do not contain SPF at all, although rumours are that they’re working on it…
Available on counter from September.

Sometimes cosmetic lines don’t do skincare very well, but having tried a couple of products before, BB isn’t bad at all. And I can’t say I mind about the no SPF. As someone who wears a high protection separate sunscreen, I actually prefer my moisturisers to be without!
