Just before my recent trip to Hong Kong I was in need of some serious pampering. Working too hard and neglecting my beauty regime/general health (!) had become part and parcel of my daily life so I thought I’d head down to Macs in Primrose Hill so sort myself out and try their Holiday Package.

Macs have two salons in London and I had the pleasure of heading down the bespoke members’ branch on Princess Road in Primrose Hill (there is also a salon in Maida Vale). The salon itself is very quaint and tailored to cater to members one-to-one so is small and intimate, with a treatment room and two hair styling stations.

I had booked in for a Holiday package that included the following treatments:

Mini Facial
Manicure
Pedicure
Full leg, Brazilian and Under-arm wax
Eyelash tint
Eyebrow shape
Dermalogica skin kit to take away with you!

I was thoroughly impressed with the treatment I had at Macs. It was embarrassingly the first time I had had an eye brow tint and thread and it’s safe to say I’m a complete convert now; my eyebrows have never looked so good! The facial was just what I needed too, giving my lifeless skin a well needed boost.

Having had the Holiday package I felt fantastic; my nails looked great, my skin felt plump and rejuvenated and my brows looked fab! I’d definitely recommend this treatment package if your heading away, or even if you’re not! For £150 it’s really good value and was a real treat to have (especially the glass of champagne I was supplied with half way through!).
