Over the past two weeks I’ve been lucky enough to have been swanning around Hong Kong, soaking up the sun/ getting soaked in a Typhoon and generally finding out all I could about the city to pass on to you lovely lot.

Mark Fast’s SS11 collection, highly anticipated due to last season’s plus size controversy, didn’t disappoint. Heavy on the fringing, skimpy on the actual material, the collection was sported by a stunning group of models, although only one was actually plus-size (and when I say plus size I mean a size 10 haha).

Creamy creamy skin and abstract bright green eyes at Betty this season. Sam Bryant’s team used their finger tips and gut instinct to fleck the paint randomly over the eye lid. The MAC palette used is set to be THE palette of 2011… Beg, borrow or steal!!

The beauty world was out en force last night at the opening of the Illamasqua flagship store on Beak Street. As if marking the way into fashion week, Sophy Robson, Mike Pocock, Leighton Denny and other such beauty movers and shakers mingled with the cast of Harry Potter and more. I was lucky enough to nip into the store the day before its launch to have a Chat with David Horne, Illamasqua’s director of new product development.
